So, this 17 year old boy, had a history of behavioral issues and violent tendencies then you couple that with firearms in the home. I will never understand how parents continue to be blind to the fact when you have a child, teen, or twenty something living in your home who has mental and violent issues that guns should remain in the home. It's obvious, if he was seeing a therapist, the therapist was spending more time on affirming him, instead of getting to the root cause of his issues! Now here we are! When I saw on the news this morning about this school shooting and they said "her". I questioned whether that was accurate. Well, now I know that the media once again can't get accurate information to put out to the public! I know I shouldn't be shocked!
New York times keeps calling him female. They keep moving the bar. First women was declared a self chosen gender. Now female, a science based term for the female sex is apparently self ID as well.
I mean are we surprised at this point? Great breakdown.....also aren't most of these cases of *severe* gender dysphoria on top of other mental disorder diagnoses? As in, maybe prescribing these horribly damaging hormones /blockers on top of existing anti-psychotics or whatever else, maybe not such a good idea???
