Much like with "misgendering", ideas they don't like are “violence” and "must be met with violence."

“Assault is the THREAT of doing harm…you are threatening people who are (pause) NOT STRAIGHT”

He says so much there. And his pause indicates he knows he messed up his words.

Question is is he mixing up trans with gay? On purpose or by accident? Is he trying to confuse the the two? Or does he know in his heart that this is gay conversion therapy and he slipped up and didn’t mean to say it? Hmmm. 🤔 Go Beth.

Thanks for sharing this. I don’t do Tik Tok or X.

I was at the event on Sunday and it was awesome! Loved all four speakers! The trans ideologues definition of assault, violence, and genocide is as ridiculous as is their definition of a woman. I found it amusing the protesters were singing "We Shall Overcome," when their side has complete institutional capture in the blue states, which is epitomized by the placement of male rapists in female prisons and forcing female rape victims to refer to their male rapists using female pronouns if he says the magic words, "I identify as a woman."

I remember, back in the days, being really passionate about arguing for gay rights, (yes, FOR them, TRAs!! Plus also, bi TERF here, btw!!), while still very much NOT having peaked over this stuff, so still being a brainwashed TRA, through and through. (I had not yet realized how much this shit actually HURTS non-comforming LGB people!! Which, when I did, that very much contributed to my peaking!! Again, figures.) Plus overall a mainstream, supposedly righteous and enlightened, supposedly "good" woke adjacent leftist. (Woke ideology was still only in its incipient stages, back then!! Oh, and if any TRAs ask, I am still not a conservative now, btw. I'm a politically homeless free thinker, although I also no longer have the MASSIVE, unjustified aversion / allergy to any and all conservative ideas that I used to have back then, and that seemingly all woke lefties so pride themselves on having! I even agree with some of them.) But you know what I also was, which was possibly the very FIRST thing that sent me down the path of eventually waking up from all the woke gaslighting, thought policing and manipulation..? Was, I was always someone who dearly loved and respected free speech, even back then! Which is why my strong stance for gay rights came to mind... Because I also remember, back then, there was an exceedingly nasty group of people, (I still think they're nasty, for the record!!), who called themselves Westboro Baptist Church, also known as the "God Hates Fags" church! Who would picket, and proudly talk about how much God supposedly HATED gay people, and how they would all burn in HELL, and how much they deserved it... (I was also an ardent atheist + anti-theist back then, who fucking DESPISED Christianity! So these people really got a two-in-one, with being THE type of person I most LOATHED!!) And: I remember fuming with rage, and thinking they were just the absolute worst of the worst! (I now think TRAs, and several other groups, are even worse than that. Because they have a MUCH bigger impact on the world, and manage to do far more harm than this very tiny group of extreme Bible thumping homophobes!) And yet..? I also remember thinking to myself, and arguing with other atheists, and other pro gay rights people, in favor of: "as fucking horrible as they are, no one should physically attack them! It still does NOT justify that! And they should have the right to speak their minds, and share their horrible views, because free speech is IMPORTANT!!! We can instead have peaceful counter demos to protest against their views, show them what we think of them, and show people an alternative view!" Which, even back then, I still remember a TON of self-righteous (pre) woke leftists not getting it, and disagreeing with me!! Which I had almost forgotten about, but now this post made me vividly recall it... It's got nothing to do with the gender wars, per se, but that was clearly one of my very EARLIEST divergent thoughts and values, and one of the very FIRST times I ever felt like: "I'm not quite like the rest of these people, and some part of their behavior does not sit right with me!!" Then they eventually, over the years, started screaming and shouting about how horrible those evil TERFs were, and I was like: "sure, they seem completely horrible, but I am also quite curious to hear what they have to say!" And... yeah. 😛

All of that is to say: I am so extremely disappointed in these so-called "progressives" for not supporting, and not seeing the value of, free speech, whatsoever!! They'll gladly sacrifice it for forced political compliance, without understanding that it is actually the bedrock of Western civilization, and what makes us a truly great, open, diverse, progressive, (by which I mean ACTUALLY progressive), free society!! Just how readily they are willing to relinquish it scares the absolute fuck out me!! Although at least with young people, who have spent their entire LIVES being indoctrinated into the oppressive, totalitarian mess that is woke ideology, at least it is more understandable. What really blows my mind, here? Is that this white bearded, anti free speech TRA useful idiot..? Looks OLD AF!! Which means he has spent a long life acquiring experience, likely got a normal, non woke infested education when he was young, and really should have EVERY goddamn reason in the book to know better!! And yet he doesn't... 😱

Also, OF COURSE that was the guy that was going to attack her! I saw it coming all along, once I knew what this video was about! Absolute fucking perv, as you can tell by just throwing the most cursory glance in his direction... She interrupted his ongoing public "affirmation" AGP euphoria boner, and so he lost his shit and retaliated, because he is a deranged pervert who needs to be locked up. Yikes. Anyway, so sorry that this happened to her.

There's very little to no evidence or data that supports the simple fact that men or boys dress as girls just to get access to the restroom. I'm not saying there isn't a one-off here or there. Just let people live their goddamn lives. Stop being the problem.

While I agree totally that trans activists use gaslighting and DARVO massively, I don't feel that this particular video portrays a good example of this in action.

For one thing the TRAs were fairly quiet and peaceful - despite their views. The woman who approached the group was, by contrast, the instigator of the interaction and quite shrill. She was assaulted - yes (although it is not very clear in the video exactly what happened). But why does she not call the police herself instead of shouting at a bunch of TRAs to do so? Obviously they will not help her take actin against them.

On a related note, while I don't know about US law, in the UK it actually is an offence to be perceived as *threatening* to do harm. The man who tells her that she was *threatening* however does seem to mix up the whole trans thing with being gay. This conflation of *transness* with homosexuality is something that the TRAs seem to do quite frequently. Whether this is by stupidity or design, who can say?

There's no law against being "shrill" and asking innocuous questions of people in public.

It concerns me that you find her behavior questionable yet you have nothing to say about the two times she was physically assaulted.

Dale's avatar

Who said it was against the law? But being shrill and loud and persistent towards people who (in the video at least) were just sitting around is provocative and doesn't portray our cause (gender abolition) in the best light.

I feel you have adopted a strange take on my comment - as if I am *for* those TRAs and *against* the woman who questioned them. I think it is quite clear that this is not so.

I also referred directly to the fact that she was assaulted. Read again.
