This month we explore the book Frankenstein. Whether you have read the book, seen the films, or not, the lecture and discussion will be lively. The symbols, images, and themes of this book are rich with material with which to critique trans ideology and transhumanist thinking.

Author Mary Shelley is the daughter of iconic suffragist Mary Wollsonecraft who famously wrote, A Vindication of the Rights of Woman in 1792 in response to American Thomas Paine’s Rights of Man (1790). Shelley’s classic gothic horror can be viewed through multiple lenses and still carries relevance for our modern times.
