These dudes are so damn obsessed with getting into the women's restrooms and locker rooms. They make the teenage miscreants in the movie Porky's look like chaste Puritans by comparison.
Respectfully Amy, do not call this thing Sarah McBride, it's either Tim McBride or Mr McBride. Its one thing for a trans person to do their thing quietly and w/o trying to force others to accept it. That person I will call them what they wish as longs they can pull it off. For the rest, its dead naming only!
Getting rid of public shaming of bd behavior was a huge mistake and that goes for all sorts of bad behavior and not just the trans stuff. The fact that any city today lets adults run around in public naked for a parade is unacceptable.
Here in the UK we haven’t so much as had a policy change but these businesses were breaking the law by allowing mixed spaces as confirmed by the Supreme Court ruling. A lot of places are still dragging their feet over making sure we have single sex spaces including schools.
Amy - did you realize that within the group of people who identify as trans, there are more transmen, women who identify as men, than transwomen, men who identify as women? I assumed it was mainly men playing dress up as women but there's more women who live life as a man then the reverse. It's not a large difference but it is still larger. That means that some of the reasons given for female only spaces fail when you look at both transmen and transwomen. The argument that its men and not women who have chosen to take drugs and get plastic inserts is not true as both sexes who identify as trans have chosen to do these things. The transwomen (men) are more visible than the transmen (women) b/c of the power differential you speak of. A woman identifying as a man is unlikely to make any impact at all in any men's sports where as most men identifying as woman will UNFAIRLY demolish the females sports. The idea however that men are more violent than they really are is another matter.
Men are fare more calm today then ever before b/c of years of women calling normal male behavior as toxic masculinity forcing men to be less masculine b/c men's goal is to find and secure a woman so they do whatever she wants to try and make her happy. This change however has made life more dangerous for women and not less for there are now fewer men wiling to step-up and help or protect a woman they do not know if she is attacked for fear of what will be done to them. Feminists targeted normal male behavior for years and now its resulted in a more dangerous society for women and still they call normal male behavior "toxic masculinity". I can speak from personal experience b/c as a Young man I stepped in and beat the you know what out of a guy who was physically abusing his GF. THAT is normal male behavior or at least it used to be until men kept being called toxic.
Now that we've had enough years of gay marriage and divorce we have the data that shows that female only relationships have a higher rate of divorce and DV (Domestic violence) than heterosexual couples and the ones with the least amount of divorce and DV is gay men. Within marriages, the more women there are the greater the chance of violence. From that should all men assume that this small % of women in lesbian relationships are representative of of most women? I ask because this kind of logic has been used to label men in general as being something they are not. That's not to say a woman should never be mindful of what the men around her do but that this idea that its only men you need to worry about is foolish.
It gets les play in the news because it runs counter to media narratives about certain groups but there are non-males that as a woman you should be far more mindful and careful of when in female spaces. Which are you really more likely to be attacked by in a women's restroom today, a man claiming to be a woman or a woman from a group of people who tend to be violent and disproportionately so relative to the % of the population they represent?
I get the argument that women have a concern for safety and thus do not want men in their private spaces like bathrooms and locker rooms but what then does that say when you have transmen who presumably don't have this fear of being in the same space as biological men? I believe women should have private spaces but I don't agree with the idea its for safety as much as is being argued. Women today have a very unrealistic view of men in general. If Western men were these rape ready monsters that more than a few women make men out to be, there would be no feminist movement, there would be no letting women complain about men like thy do. Men would not tolerate this behavior if they were as many feminist women portray them as.
I just saw video on social media of a 30 something looking woman going on about how all men need to be rounded up, tortured and killed before they destroy what women are building. That is a delusional joke. Men are the primary builders and maintainers of society. Getting rid of all men as this crazy woman wants is the same as firing every maintenance person you have for everything from you car to your home and assuming that somehow things will still be OK.
Nothing will happen to this woman for saying what she did. However, if a man says something like that even law enforcement will be knocking at his door and it's b/c in America men are not this horde of violent animals that many feminist women try to portray them as! When it comes to this trans fight you need normal men on your side. Painting them all as something they aren't is not how women help themselves with the trans fight.
I believe the need for true female only and male only bathrooms/spaces is because of respect for privacy and the fact we have very different bodies and that generally one sex is attracted to the others body and so it can be very difficult and embarrassing sharing a space where you undress, with someone of the opposite sex. Don't think for a second that most men aren't uncomfortable with changing in front of females. Even the ones who are not fat or out of shape still can fell somewhat embarrassed. There are the show-off types, the jocks and what not who will show less fear but most males in general are not any more comfortable with being naked in front of the opposite sex than women are.
The need for separate spaces should stick with facts and not feelings which is where fear comes from. A bathroom or locker room is not the only space a whack job can corner you in and do harm or worse. By making the point about undeniable facts and not fears, you make it harder for a nut job like Mr McBride here to argue against separate spaces.
My point is that making/portraying men as a whole as something they are not is counter productive to women's fight against the trans madness! And I still love/support what you do so please do not take this the wrong way. As a heterosexual married man with kids I'm doing what I can toe repair the damage that has ben done to healthy male/female relations in our society
How are you able to use the restroom in Europe? I'm hopeful that I'll never have to take my great grandbaby to a family restroom and see you upon exiting.

Shout out to Jackie who liked this post, thank ou!
So well argued! I find your videos very helpful in clarifying these issues.
100% agree with everything you say. we can only hope that if Labour get slaughtered at the polls they will give up and bugger off.

I love that his deadname is T.I.M.

BULLSHIT.
Republicans started this TRANS WAR.
Leave TRANS people alone. Just fuck right off.
Hmmm, that's a well reasoned argument
Thank you for this. I have liked and restacked.
