Brilliant. this is exactly what is at the root of what Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes calls "instinct-injury". It's also something that makes children into adults who are more susceptible to predators through their whole life.

Oh I feel that in my bones. My emotions were constantly "corrected" by my family as a child, and then they wonder why I struggled with that in my adolescence and young adulthood. It took so much work to undo the idea that I'm allowed to actually be sad when I feel sad instead of being snapped at to "quit crying, you aren't sad!"

I SOOOOOOO need this to keep my daughter (who up until she became pregnant, identified as a boy) from teaching her two year old that kindness and ally-hip and pronouns and gender identity are mandatory or true. my daughter still very much believes in this crap and has all kinds of those horrible books on the babies bookshelf. Thank you thank you.

You should remind her that "allyship" means BOTH parties are getting something out of the deal. Otherwise it's just subservience. Ask her what her child gets out of being a good ally (like, materially what does she get by supporting these causes)

What does your daughter "identify as" now? Nonbinary they/them?

What a load of bullshit.

When you tell a child that a chihuahua is a "dog" and then tell them that a St. Bernard is also a "dog", do you damage their brains? Does the child who points out a bird need to never be shown a penguin, emu, kiwi, or owl to keep them from being confused? Of course not, because children need to understand that nouns don't stand for a single, specific thing, but rather to *classes* of things, and there is *variety* within those classes.

When it comes to human beings, transgender women more closely resemble cisgender women than cisgender men, and vice-versa, so there is no problem with children except for what you create when they will likely properly identify the gender of a transgender person. Are you going to tell androgynous people that they need to stay away from children? Are you going to have your children label flat-chested women with short hair as "men" to avoid confusion? That would be idiotic.

This whole video is just transphobia dressed up in children's language. "The point of Little Red Riding Hood is that people wearing the wrong clothes are all predators!" Again I say bullshit.

What do you propose a parent say to their transgender child when at four years old, their body is telling them what gender they are? Do you allow the child to trust their own body, or do you give them adult correction, telling them they need to let an adult tell them what they are? I get the feeling that in that case, you're suddenly going to be *fine* with an adult telling them they're wrong, won't you?

But lots of rapist are trans like Sinthya China Blast and Tremaine Carroll and many, many trans rape by deception

Brucker's avatar

Far more cisgender men are rapists, both in sheer numbers and percentages, than transgender women. So whatever your non sequitur point was, it applies more to cisgender men than transgender women.

Betsy Warrior's avatar

Yeah, it's a tiny percentage of men who impersonate women and compared to men who aren't committing identity fraud their numbers are tiny , but they committ a disproportionate number of rapes. I mentioned two? You think I'm gonna list millions? You've gotta do your own research . Your ability to practice logic is too deficient to argue with.

Brucker's avatar

Sorry but there are millions of transgender people in the United States, and you said "many" trans people commit rape. Two is not "many". Do you have any statistics or anything at all other than a list of TWO transgender rapists? I bet I could hop on Google and get you the names of 100 Republican men who are convicted rapists, but that’s still just anecdotal evidence. Don't make a claim you can't back up, and please, for the love of God, explain what two rapists hace to do with the original subject!

Brucker's avatar

You said "many" and then name *two*.

I can tell you know absolutely nothing about early childhood development.

One of these women is transgender. Please tell me which woman would harm a chid if you told them she was a woman, and why.

Brucker's avatar

Actually, I've taken several college courses, and both my wife and my mother work in the field. So why would you say that? Can you tell me what would be the problem with allowing a child to see a trans person, while you're at it?

The same method as grooming children for sexual intercourse. And they know it.

The *true Gospel of Jesus Christ strikes not only at the root of this issue but every problem plaguing this fading world.

Children who receive the gift of the Holy Spirit have something that serves to strenghten and refine God given instincts -something this world can't take away.

This is why having a parent transition is also child abuse. I know some organizations who claim to be against trans related child abuse still support adult transition (Gays Against Groomers), which undermines their entire message and actually makes THEM the groomers. It destroys the foundations of their very psyche, it teaches them to not trust their perceptions and that reality isn't real.
