On October 23, I organized a group to go to Providence Park to stand in XX-XY Athletics shirts holding scarves that read Save Women’s Sports.
We did not reveal our shirts until after half time. Immediately after we revealed our shirts, flags on PVC pipe poles were passed out by the Rose City Riveters and used to corral us and assault us.
We need to tell Portland Thorns FC and Providence Park no more weapons! Why are the Rose City Riveters allowed to have weapons at National Women’s Soccer League games??
Tell these organizations to REMOVE the weapons!!
