Catholics don't insist that non-Catholics believe in transubstantiation, but the entire trans life is dependent on the validation of others. You could say they believe that "you think, therefore I am", which is clearly not a road to happiness for anyone. This is no more than another self-harming cult. https://lucyleader.substack.com/p/religion-cult-whatever

fab stuff Amy.

I passed this on to my husbands friend who is trying to stop his 9 year old grandson from going onto puberty blockers. He is an 82 year old man in extreme distress, once was Headmaster of one of Australias most respected private school boys Colleges. He is not enjoying his senescent years as both his kids are are so deep in the Woke all his grandkids are in danger of being transsexualised.

The dissociation requires a gnostic splitting. Decartes was not as original as he supposed. Speaking of which. I cracked open a certain controversial tome this morning and found a gnostic bible :)

how is anything being discussed gnostic

“Trans women are women, trans men are men” is a gnostic statement. Its predicate is intuitional self-knowledge, or gnosis. It presupposes a division of the body from the thinking brain. It poses an alternative to your "false consciousness" of male/female as material reality. It even has a demiurge called "cisnormativity." Eric Vogelin identified modern gnosticism emerging from the 19C German schools of philosophy, i.e. Hegel and Marx, calling them "ersatz religions." Those are the intellectual foundations of Queer Theory. Once you see it you cannot unsee it.

Like, for one thing, Marx was opposed to Hegel. That's what his book, German Ideology was about, it explained why the Hegelians were incorrect. Marx would not be considered a Hegelian or even part of the German philosophical tradition, he was part of the socialist tradition. Furthermore, neither could actually be considered an ersatz religion, Hegel was openly basing his thought around religion and Marxism is anti-religious, it doesn't engage with idealism, and neither has anything to do with Gnosticism or are even remotely close to Gnosticism. Marxism does oppose the idea of a hard separation between men and women but only because it degrades women into being a form of property, it has nothing to do with gnosis, which is an idea you don't understand at all.

Gnosis literally just means knowledge, it is divine knowledge akin to what Adam of Life and Eve of Life got from eating from the tree and the knowledge that Christ imparted upon mankind. It does not come from within, it is knowing the truth that the world created by the Demiurge is not the true world and that you should escape it to find truth with Sophia (knowledge personified) and The Lord, or Christ. The Demiurge represents the false god, the authorities that oppress and prevent people from finding faith, etc, he's an imperfect creation who declared himself perfect and was punished for it. A fact or social force can not be the Demiurge, the statement that "cisnormativity" is a demiurge is deranged. Knowing that trans people exist can not be a gnosis, it's just knowledge of a fact, not the greater knowledge about the truth of the world that Gnostics look for.

That entire statement rests entirely upon ignorance and you being deeply incorrect about many things, and an incorrect belief that your personal beliefs are simply material reality, and all other beliefs are divorced from material reality.

Marx was more gnostic than Hegel, who was a Hermeticist. “Hegel is not a philosopher,” Glenn Alexander Magee writes in the first sentence of 'Hegel and the Hermetic Tradition,' which I recommend. “He is no lover or seeker of wisdom — he believes he has found it.”

"an incorrect belief that your personal beliefs are simply material reality"

Explain my personal beliefs, since you already know them. In detail.

I kinda envy people who have a deep connection to their bodies and are grounded on earth. I've always gravitated to mind/body dualism. Ironically, it's been both the worst (i.e., identified as trans once) and best (i.e., spirituality) thing.

The armies of transed individuals, will be the same who will volunteer for the initial transhumanist new hybrid. When you believe that mind and body are not inherently connected and you can simply cut the body into the pieces you want, the next step is to let someone implant you with a new device that supposedly makes you an even more desirable and special creature, standing out from the norm.
