This is what I mean when I say, LANGUAGE IS THE BATTLEFIELD.
Language controls the realm of allowable thought. Even Fox News is reporting that there is a “ban on trans athletes.”
An athlete’s trans status is IRRELEVANT to the ruling. The ruling is an upholding of the category of sex when it comes to female sports. Women who claim trans identities will still be able to play on female only sports teams as long as they are not doping on testosterone.
This reporting reifies the category of “trans” as something real. Thinking people reject the notion of trans outright. No one is “trans” and mental beliefs are irrelevant when it comes to safeguarding and fairness in women and girls’ sports.
